a character that has morphed through the decades, as has happened with Mickey & Madonna, he 'evolved' into a cutesy, safe toon. i wanted to reboot back to the wacky, screwball Woody that first traumatized (but in a positive way; is there a good version of 'traumatized'?) me. something about looking at/into a crazy person's eyes and knowing that things ain't gonna be cutesy nor safe for very long...
